I’ve been thinking about different ways to network myself into Grad school, and one of the way’s I’m doing that is to start attending academic conferences. I am presenting a paper at this year’s UHD gender conference, Policing Gender, but I hope to start attending conferences around the country. These are not that easy to find. By doing a basic Google search, however, I came across a very helpful website called ConferenceAlerts.com. It is a relatively well populated list of conferences coming up in a variety of disciplines. If you are planning on attending Grad School or are already in Grad School, I suggest you check this out.
