Writers Who Make a Difference

It took one professor to make the difference during the semester of English Composition II. For the first time in many years, I sat in a classroom where a Latino prodded our premature brains for answers. I had taken a ten-year break from school, was somewhat intimidated by the few eighteen-year olds in the classroom, and I was happy to have a role model whom I could identify with in front of me.
